This is a brand new, Whirlpool original FSP complete icemaker to replace your damaged one. This is the most current original replacement part for most Whirlpool, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Roper, Estate by Whirlpool, and other brands of Whirlpool-made refrigerators. This icemaker WILL NOT FIT refrigerators which have the ice bin in the door and the icemaker is mounted sideways on the front of the freezer. For that one, you may need icemaker 2198597, also available in our store. For any questions regarding fit, email us before buying.
This is meant as a replacement-only icemaker. Does not include a water valve, bucket, or other parts. It does include the wiring harness. As with any other repair part, you may need to use some of your old components (like screws) to install this, so be sure you are technically capable of properly diagnosing a faulty icemaker. This icemaker can also be used to replace a faulty unit if your fridge has icemaker kit ECKMF94 or 1129316 installed.
Please allow 24 hours for the icemaker to make ice and please make sure your freezer's temperature is below 0 F.
Need a water valve also? Use part# 4318047 for a single valve, 4318046 for a double valve (icemaker and dispenser), and 4389177 for a triple water valve. All are available in our store!
